3D Firefighting Simulation
The Flame-Sim training system has allowed firefighters to train communication and decision based procedures in a dynamic and contextual environment. Safely train firefighters the department’s procedures for size up, mayday, evacuation, and many more while involving multiple users and a constantly changing environment. FLAME-SIM allows training officers to eliminate mistakes while enhancing safety by reinforcing departmental procedures through a process of repetition and evaluation. Finally, due to the fact that each user is involved in the training session, the post incident critiques become very involved and specific to the actions of each user involved in the training session.
The FLAME-SIM application is scalable, allowing a training officer to set up new and complex sessions in as little as 10 minutes, creating unique simulations with a wide variety of potential outcomes that will help sharpen the firefighters’ intuitive skills.
