Rosemary and I celebrated our third anniversary on July 23rd, 2008. The time has flown by rather quickly and that always seems to happen when you are having the time of your life.
Our plans for our celebration included:
- Going to the Chicago Botanic Gardens
- Going downtown to loaf around for a while and grabbing a bite to eat
- Coming home and watching a movie???
Unfortunately, I don’t really remember the original plans because THEY WERE ALL SPOILED!!!!
We got to the train station around 10:45am. Est. train arrival time 10:55am. We waited… and waited.
I Started To Get A Little Angry
We waited for about an hour for the train before we decided to leave. We did see the train right down the tracks, but it remained motionless at the station down the road from ours.We still don’t know what the holdup was, maybe there was a couch on the tracks and no-one knew what to do with it?
So, when its all rainy outside and your plans all all killed by some train incident, what do you do???
Why You Go See The New Batman Movie Of Course
We loved it, despite the horrible ending and really awful voice coming from Batman’s mouth.
After the movie, we decided to take ourselves out to one of the most electrofying, super fantastic, deluxe, smashogamma, uberawesome restaurants.
There was a lot more that was done to celebrate as well, but I lacked on taking really good pictures of everything. A couple of worthwhile mentions though.
- We bought our own place (a brand spanking new…renovated condo)
- Tom Tom 720 Navigational System
- Jimmy Buffett Concert

A great three years has passed and the will be many more to come. Hopefully every single year we will grow together and learn to love each other in many new and exciting ways. Everyday is always going to be a fantastic experience. I’m looking forward to every moment. Happy Anniversary!
